Spring Break is America’s casual cousin to Europe’s resort season. Women venture off to a new locale for much deserved R&R. Whether it’s a sunny beach, an island cruise, or mountain ski resort, we still want to look our best with minimal effort.
These three lookbooks have something for every budget. Feel free to make comments, ask questions, and share with your friends.
We all know it as nautical styling, but I’m totally into the Yacht Rock Review lately and find myself singing “Brandy” as I blog. So in 2016, we’re Yacht Rockin’ it! Stripes, grommets, and slip-ons are the latest trends that you can incorporate into your existing resort wardrobe.
Boho Beach Babe
I’m not strutting around in bikinis these days, but I do like to feel sexy and a bit romantic when lounging poolside or wading through the surf at sunset. Boho prints and flowing fabrics do it right. Bold florals, culottes, frayed or fringe edges, and mules (the 90’s are back!) for all.
Rippers & Shredders
Tanning waterside isn’t for everyone. Our athletic sisters may take this opportunity to hit the last snow of the season and breathe the invigorating crisp mountain air. Fur trims, puffer jackets, pom-poms and platform Timberlands are resort faves that were also highlighted in my “3 P’s of Winter City Chic.”
